OECD's og EU's retningslinjer for forsøg
Undersøgelser om REACH-informationskrav vedrørende økotoksicitet, toksicitet og fysisk-kemiske egenskaber udarbejdes normalt ved hjælp af retningslinjer for forsøg. Disse officielle retningslinjer er godkendt af OECD og EU.
Som følge af den videnskabelige og forskriftsmæssige udvikling bliver retningslinjerne for forsøg opdateret og nye indført. ECHA yder gennem denne webside støtte til registranterne ved at redegøre for, hvordan retningslinjerne kan anvendes til at opfylde de i REACH fastsatte informationskrav. F.eks. forklares det i relevante tilfælde, hvilken rolle de nye retningslinjer for forsøg spiller som led i forsøgsstrategier. Disse oplysninger stilles til rådighed inden den formelle opdatering af ECHA's vejledning.
Visse af disse retningslinjer kan være omfattet af vejledningen om informationskrav og kemikaliesikkerhedsvurdering. Er dette tilfældet, bør vejledningen følges nøje som supplement til oplysningerne på denne side.
I nedenstående afsnit henvises der specifikt til OECD's retningslinjer for forsøg og EU's forsøgsmetoder, såfremt disse foreligger.
