Have your say: how does your company deal with chemicals in consumer articles?
The German Environment Agency (UBA) is running a survey until
30 September 2018 for suppliers of consumer articles under the EU LIFE project AskREACH. The project helps companies inform consumers about harmful substances in their articles, such as furniture, textiles, toys, household goods and electric appliances.
All the data collected will be used for the purposes of the project only. The questionnaire is anonymous.

Public consultation on proposed restriction of eight substances found in granules and mulches on sports pitches and playgrounds
The Netherlands has submitted a proposal to restrict the placing on the market of granules and mulches containing
polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) above a set concentration limit for use as infill material in synthetic turf pitches or in loose form on playgrounds and in sports applications.
This consultation is open from 19 September 2018 to 19 March 2019, 23:59 Helsinki time.
ECHA’s scientific committees welcome early comments by
16 November 2018 to assist them in the first discussion of the proposal in November 2018.

Public consultation on SEAC draft opinion on restriction
ECHA is looking for comments on the draft opinion of the Committee for Socio-economic Analysis on the restriction proposal on the manufacturing, use, placing on the market and import of
C9-C14 perfluorocarboxylic acids (PFCAs), their salts and related substances (precursors), submitted by Germany in collaboration with Sweden.

19 November 2018.
