Recomandările SCOEL
Comitetul științific pentru stabilirea valorilor-limită de expunere profesională la agenți chimici (SCOEL) a fost instituit pentru prima dată de Comisia Europeană în 1995, cu scopul de a evalua efectele potențiale ale expunerii profesionale la substanțe chimice periculoase asupra sănătății, pe baza celor mai recente date științifice disponibile. Substanțele incluse în acest registru au fost evaluate de comitet până în 2018, când mandatul acestuia s-a încheiat.
Recomandările științifice bazate pe sănătate au fost utilizate pentru a stabili valorile-limită de expunere profesională pentru protecția lucrătorilor împotriva riscurilor chimice, în temeiul Directivei privind agenții chimici și al Directivei privind agenții cancerigeni și mutageni. Această directivă a fost înlocuită ulterior cu Directiva privind agenții cancerigeni, mutageni și toxici pentru reproducere (DCMR, 2004/37/CE).
Registrul, publicat anterior pe site-ul SCOEL, conține lista substanțelor pentru care SCOEL a adoptat recomandări și avize referitoare la evaluările toxicologice ale substanțelor care afectează sănătatea lucrătorilor.
Cum se citește tabelul
Identificatorii de substanță prezentați în tabel provin din baza de date a ECHA privind substanțele chimice:
- Denumirea substanței
- Numărul CE/listei (numărul Comunității Europene/numărul listei atribuit de ECHA)
- CAS RN (adică Numărul de registru „Chemical Abstract Service”)
Pentru fiecare substanță, tabelul indică și denumirea SCOEL specifică (în paranteză, dacă este diferită de cea a ECHA), numărul documentului SCOEL, anul în care recomandarea a fost adoptată sau revizuită și recomandarea în format PDF.
