Guidance on registration updated
Helsinki, 18 August 2021 – The new version of the guidance gives companies up-to-date support with their registration obligations.
The guidance is now aligned with two European Commission implementing regulations – one on the registration and data sharing of phase-in substances after the final registration deadline, and the other on updates of registration dossiers.
The new version clarifies how the registration process happens now that pre-registrations are no longer valid and advises companies how to calculate the tonnage band in which to register. It also helps companies determine when they need to update their REACH registrations.
Additionally, the updated document includes a section on joint submission of data that was previously in the Guidance on data sharing.
