Report published on the methodologies employed in the environmental risk assessment of petroleum substances
Commissioned by ECHA, this report provides conclusions and offers recommendations for improving the scientific validity and applicability of the most common methods used to assess the environmental risks of petroleum substances.
In the October issue, we promote the recently published fact sheet and write about what happens after a decision has been made on a dossier. We also write about what companies need do to stay on the market with their biocidal products after 1 September 2015 and take a look at implementing biocides legislation in the Netherlands. We also interview an American documentarist whose film 'The Human Experiment' takes a look at chemicals in everyday household products and their potential effect on humans.
