Iskanje nadomestnih snovi
Ko določite prednostni vrstni red svojih snovi in jih nekatere določite za nadomestitev, je čas za iskanje potencialnih nadomestnih snovi. Določitev obsega projekta nadomestitve je ključnega pomena, saj v tej fazi določite:
(a) raven sodelovanja deležnikov, ki ga želite;
(b) cilje in načela, na katerih temelji projekt, ter
(c) merila za odločanje o tem, katero drugo možnost izbrati.
Določitev obsega projekta nadomestitve vključuje tudi vzpostavitev meja za oceno. S tem prispevate k smotrni porabi virov in pripravi načrta za ocenjevanje alternativnih rešitev, vključno z načrtovanjem, katere učinke na zdravje, poti izpostavljenosti, segmente življenjskega cikla in tehnične značilnosti/učinkovitost je treba upoštevati.
