The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has published a new version of the Guidance in a Nutshell on Requirements for Substances in Articles. The document is now available in the Guidance section of the ECHA website.
Helsinki, 29 June 2011 - The updated Guidance in a nutshell aims to explain in simple terms the main elements of ECHA's new version of the Guidance on requirements for substances in articles. The document's target is to help companies producing, importing or supplying articles to identify their obligations regarding substances in articles. It briefly explains key aspects such as the concept of an article, obligations for registration, notification and communication, and possible exemptions from these obligations.
