Conoscere le proprie sostanze ed esigenze - sostituzione

Individuare le sostanze utilizzate che destano preoccupazione è il primo passo per attuare con esito positivo il proprio piano di sostituzione.

  • Preparare un inventario delle sostanze utilizzate.
  • Indicare la priorità delle sostanze candidate alla sostituzione. Tra queste sono incluse le sostanze considerate maggiormente pericolose, sostanze che potrebbero non essere assolutamente necessarie per il funzionamento di un prodotto e sostanze che, nel prossimo futuro, potrebbero costituire oggetto di azioni normative o di pressioni di mercato.
  • Individuare le funzioni chiave svolte nel prodotto o nel processo dalla sostanza che desta preoccupazione.
  • Informare e consultare la propria catena di approvvigionamento (sia i clienti che i fornitori) per individuare potenziali problemi e opzioni.

  • IMDS: Automobile industry’s material data system.
