Thank you for your participation at the Eighth Stakeholders' Day - presentations are online

The conference welcomed nearly 300 participants from all around the world to Helsinki and over 1600 viewed the event live via web-streaming. In addition, 62 one-to-one sessions were held between ECHA staff and participants on a wide range of topics.

The presenations are now available for download and the recording of the event will be on the ECHA website in the near future. The closing presentation summarises some of the main outcomes and key points raised during the day, including topics such as assistance with lead registrant abuse of position cases, easier to understand material for SMEs ahead of the next deadline and promotion of substitution.

ECHA closed 29 March - 1 April

The Agency is closed during Easter. This closure also affects to REACH-IT system, which will be unavailable from Friday 29 March until Tuesday 2 April 10:00 (EET).

Public consultations launched on CLH proposals for two pesticides and an industrial chemical

26 March 2013

ECHA invites interested parties to comment on the pesticides bifenazate and triflusulfuron and on the industrial chemical Direct Blue FC 57087. The public consultation will be open for 45 days and will end on 10 May 2013.

Follow the REACH 2013 registration progress online

22 March 2013

For the first time, ECHA publishes specific information on the registration progress towards the 2013 deadline. This information is available on ECHA's REACH 2013 web page and will be updated weekly in the run up to the deadline of 31 May.

ECHA launches a public consultation on a proposed restriction of lead and its compounds in consumer articles

21 March 2013

The public consultation will start on 21 March 2013 and will last for six months concluding on 21 September 2013. Interested parties are invited to send comments by 1 June 2013 in time for the first discussion during the meetings of the Committees for Risk Assessment (RAC) and Socio-economic Analysis (SEAC).

Status of applications for authorisation

The number of received notifications of intentions to submit an application for authorisation, held pre-submission information sessions and submitted applications are available on ECHA's website. The names of the substances will be made public when the application is submitted.
