New REACH-IT version up and running
ECHA/NI/17/34
ECHA’s dossier submission and communication tool, REACH-IT, has successfully been updated and is again available for companies to use.
Helsinki, 7 November 2017 – The update (version 3.3) does not affect the submission of registration dossiers and mainly builds up ECHA’s capacity to deal with the incoming dossiers for the 31 May 2018 deadline.
Some new features are included:
- More transparency in joint submissions: All members of the joint submission have an overview of the data requirements (REACH Annexes VI-X) associated with each member’s last successful submission and an indication if the lead or members have opted out from the information submitted jointly in the lead dossier. This information is on the Joint Submission page of REACH-IT.
- New online submission for downstream user notifications of authorised uses (Art. 66 of REACH) and reports for unsupported uses (Art. 38(1) of REACH), replacing the web form.
- New online submission for substance in articles notifications (Art. 7(2) of REACH), replacing the web form.
All support web pages, manuals and relevant documents have been revised to reflect the changes. If you need further help or have any questions about the update, contact ECHA.
The terms and conditions of REACH-IT have also been updated to include further clarification on the proprietary rights related to information in the system, which might belong to third parties and, therefore, its disclosure may require permission (see point 7 (a) of the Terms and Conditions of use and service of REACH-IT). When logging in to REACH-IT for the first time after the update, you need to accept these terms and conditions.
