The Agency has cooperation agreements with regulatory agencies in the following countries: Australia, Canada, Japan, Switzerland and the United States of America. Activities focuses on exchanging information, best practice and scientific knowledge.

These agreements on technical and scientific cooperation can be supported by rolling work plans. The interaction with ECHA's peer organisations includes Directors' video/phone conferences and Technical Dialogue sessions between experts when topics of mutual interest and benefit have been identified. The main focus of cooperation is best practice dialogue on the regulatory science, IT tools and databases relevant for the sound management of chemicals.

The cooperation under current agreements does not include the exchange of confidential business information.
