Recomendaciones del Comité Científico para los Límites de Exposición Profesional a Agentes Químicos (SCOEL)
El Comité Científico para los Límites de Exposición Profesional a Agentes Químicos lo creó la Comisión Europea en 1995 con el objetivo de evaluar los posibles efectos sobre la salud de la exposición profesional a sustancias químicas peligrosas sobre la base de los últimos datos científicos disponibles. El Comité evaluó las sustancias incluidas en este repositorio hasta 2018, cuando finalizó su mandato.
Las recomendaciones científicas basadas en la salud se han utilizado para establecer valores límite de exposición profesional para proteger a los trabajadores de los riesgos químicos con arreglo a la Directiva sobre agentes químicos y la Directiva sobre agentes carcinógenos y mutágenos. Esta directiva ha sido sustituida posteriormente por la Directiva sobre los agentes carcinógenos, mutágenos y reprotóxicos (2004/37/CE).
El repositorio, publicado previamente en el sitio web del Comité Científico para los Límites de Exposición Profesional a Agentes Químicos, proporciona la lista de sustancias para las que el Comité adoptó recomendaciones y dictámenes relativos a las evaluaciones toxicológicas de las sustancias que afectan a la salud de los trabajadores.
Cómo leer la tabla
Los identificadores de la sustancia mostrados en la tabla proceden de la base de datos de sustancias químicas de la ECHA:
- Nombre de la sustancia
- Número CE/Lista (número de la Comunidad Europea / número de lista asignado por la ECHA)
- CAS RN (es decir, número de registro CAS)
Para cada sustancia, la tabla también incluye el nombre específico del Comité Científico para los Límites de Exposición Profesional a Agentes Químicos (entre paréntesis, cuando sea distinto del de la ECHA), el número de documento del Comité Científico para los Límites de Exposición Profesional a Agentes Químicos, el año en que se adoptó o revisó la recomendación y la recomendación en formato PDF.
