Empfehlungen des SCOEL
Der Wissenschaftliche Ausschuss für Grenzwerte berufsbedingter Exposition gegenüber chemischen Arbeitsstoffen (SCOEL) wurde erstmals 1995 von der Europäischen Kommission mit dem Ziel eingesetzt, die möglichen gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen der Exposition gegenüber gefährlichen Chemikalien am Arbeitsplatz auf der Grundlage der neuesten verfügbaren wissenschaftlichen Daten zu bewerten. Die in diesem Repositorium enthaltenen Stoffe wurden vom Ausschuss bis 2018 bewertet, als sein Mandat endete.
Die gesundheitsbezogenen wissenschaftlichen Empfehlungen wurden verwendet, um Grenzwerte für die berufsbedingte Exposition zum Schutz der Beschäftigten vor chemischen Risiken gemäß der Richtlinie über chemische Arbeitsstoffe und der Richtlinie über Karzinogene und Mutagene festzulegen. Diese Richtlinie wurde später durch die Richtlinie über Karzinogene, Mutagene und reproduktionstoxische Stoffe (CMRD, 2004/37/EG) ersetzt.
Das Repositorium, das zuvor auf der SCOEL-Website veröffentlicht wurde, enthält die Liste der Stoffe, für die der SCOEL Empfehlungen und Stellungnahmen zu toxikologischen Bewertungen von Stoffen angenommen hat, die sich auf die Gesundheit der Beschäftigten auswirken.
Erläuterungen zur Tabelle
Die in der Tabelle aufgeführten Stoffidentifikatoren stammen aus der Chemikaliendatenbank der ECHA:
- Stoffname:
- EG-/Listennummer (Nummer der Europäischen Gemeinschaft/von der ECHA vergebene Listennummer)
- CAS-Nummer (d. h. „Chemical-Abstract-Service-Registry“-Nummer
Für jeden Stoff enthält die Tabelle zudem die spezifische SCOEL-Bezeichnung (in Klammern, wenn sie sich von der ECHA-Bezeichnung unterscheidet), die SCOEL-Dokumentennummer, das Jahr, in dem die Empfehlung angenommen oder überarbeitet wurde, und die Empfehlung im PDF-Format.
