Code of good administrative behaviour

The Code of good administrative behaviour contains the basic principles for the staff of the Agency to direct their relations with the public. Those principles include: lawfulness, non-discrimination, proportionality of measures to the aim pursued and consistency in administrative behaviour.

The aim of the Code is to guarantee the delivery of high-quality service to the public by the Agency and to inform the public of the standards of conduct that they have a right to expect in their dealings with ECHA.

The Code was adopted by the Management Board in 2007 and it applies to all staff..
