Seminar on Applications for Authorisation
Tuesday 12 April 2011, ECHA Conference Center, Helsinki, Finland
Organised by ECHA to raise the understanding of potential applicants of the authorisation application procedure and the requirements on the contents of applications, as well as the use of submission formats, manuals and tools.
This event was primarily targeted to potential applicants for an authorisation, and in particular for the first substances included in the Authorisation List, as well as the substances in ECHA's second recommendation for the inclusion of substances in the Authorisation List. In total ca. 40 participants took part in the seminar. ECHA is planning to hold similar events with other stakeholders in the near future.
The programme covered the following topics:
- the Authorisation List and an overview of the authorisation application procedure;
- the content of an application for authorisation;
- guidance, tools and assistance to applicants.
