Additional information

The effects of 1,2 -dichloroethane on the growth and reproduction of Daphnia magna were assessed in an unaerated, static, 28-day test. Based on the mean adult length and number of neonates per adult per reproduction day, the overall 28-day NOEC was determined to be 10.7 mg/L based on measured concentration. This study is classified as acceptable and satisfies the guideline requirements for a chronic toxicity study with aquatic invertebrates.
