Based on the results of the acute toxicity tests to aquatic organisms (most sensitive species Fish, Lepomis macrochirus, with a LC50 of 136 g/L) and taking into account the provisions laid down in Council Directive 67/548/EEC and CLP (GHS), 1,2 -dichloroethane does not have to be classified with respect to ecotoxicity.
