Toelichting op biocidenwetgeving

Het onderstaande overzicht bevat alle begeleidingsdocumenten die op deze website beschikbaar zijn of zullen worden. Ze zijn ontwikkeld met medewerking van lidstaten, de industrie en erkende belanghebbenden. Deze documenten moeten het ten uitvoer leggen van de Biocidenverordening vergemakkelijken door praktische wenken te geven om aan de verplichtingen te voldoen.
 
Op de gebieden waar de begeleidingsdocumenten voor de Biocidenverordening nog in voorbereiding zijn, kunnen ook de begeleidingsdocumenten voor de Biocidenrichtlijn en andere aanverwante documenten worden geraadpleegd voor nieuwe indieningen uit hoofde van de Biocidenverordening. Bovendien zijn deze documenten nog steeds van kracht voor aanvragen voor opname van werkzame stoffen in bijlage I en voor aanvragen voor producttoelating onder de Biocidenrichtlijn die nog worden beoordeeld.

This Guidance informs potential applicants about their obligations resulting from the provisions of Article 54 of the BPR: when they need to apply for an assessment of technical equivalence and on the procedural steps in making that application.
The Guidance also informs potential applicants about the assessment conducted by the Agency and the approach used for assessing the technical equivalence of the alternative source of an active substance versus its reference source.
