Stock-taking conference on the implementation of REACH authorisation
The purpose of the conference is to take stock of the evolution and achievements of the authorisation process in terms of the progression of substitution, proper control of risks and cost-effectiveness.
The conference will help to further increase confidence and understanding of the application for authorisation process over the years to come. The conference is a follow-up to the Workshop on Streamlining applications for authorisation held in Brussels on 17 November 2015 and the 'Lessons Learned' conference on applications for authorisation held in Helsinki on 10-11 February 2015.
Date and venue
The conference is co-organised by ECHA and the European Commission and will take place in the ECHA conference centre from 13 November (13:00) to 14 November (16:00) 2017.

The presentations will be made available on ECHA’s website. This will allow a broader audience to benefit from them, including SMEs and/or downstream users who might not be able attend.
