Are you working on the environmental risk assessment of biocides? This webinar gives an overview on the new ECHA guidance on the assessment of risks to bees from the use of biocides.
The new guidance was prepared by a group of experts from EU countries and ECHA. It outlines a new approach for a quantitative risk assessment of bees which has been missing in the current ECHA guidance for environmental risk assessment.
The methodology is based on revised EFSA guidance on the risk assessment of plant protection products on bees (Apis mellifera, Bombus spp. and solitary bees), published in May 2023.
In addition to the overall risk assessment scheme, the webinar will address new information requirements, exposure assessment from the use of biocides and specific aspects of bee risk assessment in comparison to the standard environmental assessment of biocides.
