Notify ECHA and request a pre-submission information session
Notify ECHA, at the latest, eight months before you intend to submit an application for authorisation. When sending the notification, you should indicate the substance and provide a general description of the uses for which you will be seeking an authorisation.
You can also request a Pre-Submission Information Session (PSIS) with ECHA to ask case-specific questions regarding the regulatory and procedural aspects related to the application. If your request is accepted, you will be asked to provide ECHA with some background information before the session.
The request for a PSIS should be submitted at least two months before the requested meeting time and the PSIS should be held, at the latest, about six months before the submission of the application.
For joint applications, only one PSIS will be available, and this session is for the group of applicants as a whole.
