This list contains substances designated as preservatives which cosmetic products marketed in the European Union may contain. The list contains maximum concentration limits and other restrictions. It also contains special labelling requirements, which outline conditions of use and warnings.
Maximum concentration value is given for 'Butyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and its salts, Propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and its salts'
Not to be used in leave-on products designed for application on the nappy area of children under three years of age
