Fertilisers Regulation, Annex I, E.3 Chelating and complexing agents

This list contains Annex I fertiliser types according to their specific characteristics. Regulation 2003/2003/EC consolidates all European Union rules that apply to fertilisers, and ensure that the technical requirements outlined in the Regulation are implemented uniformly. The Regulation only applies to mineral fertilisers consisting of one or more plant nutrients. Regulation 2003/2003/EC has been repealed with effect from 16 July 2022 by Regulation 2019/1009/EU.

IE.3.2 Annex I: E.3.2: The following complexing agents are only permitted in products for fertigation and/or foliar application, except for Zn lignosulfonate, Fe lignosulfonate, Cu lignosulfonate and Mn lignosulfonate that can be applied directly to the soil.
1 For quality reasons, the relative phenolic hydroxyl content and the relative organic sulphur content as measured by EN 16109 must exceed 1.5 % and 4.5 % respectively.

This list contains the Annex I Plastic Food Contact Materials (FCMs) authorised for use in the European Union under Regulation 10/2011/EU. Pursuant to Art. 4(b) of Directive 282/2008/EC on recycled plastic FCMs, plastic recycling processes can only be authorised if input originates from plastic materials and articles manufactured in accordance with EU legislation on plastic food contact materials and articles.

Recycled Plastic FCMs - Regulation (EU) 2022/1616

The list contains the Union list of authorised substances for the purposes of compositional requirements related to recycled plastic FCMs. The list is taken from Annex I to Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011. Recycled plastic FCMs shall comply with the requirements set out in Regulation (EU) No 10/2011. In addition, plastic waste inputs shall originate only from plastic materials and articles manufactured in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 10/2011.
