As no decomposition of the test substance could be observed below 150 °C, OPP is considered to be stable at room temperature.

Description of key information

Stability (thermal and air): stable

Additional information

Exothermal decomposition was found to start at 290 °C during tests according to OECD Guideline 113. Therefore the substance can be considered to be thermally stable.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The available data on thermal stability of the test substance do not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and are therefore conclusive but not sufficient for classification.
