Case 1:	Patch testing with the cream and OPP in 0.5% and 1%  concentrations showed strong positive reactions at 72 h. In the hospital  laboratory where the individual worked, a germicidal agent containing OPP  was used, but he was careful to avoid contact with it and experienced no  further dermatitis
Case 2: Patch testing and "provocative use test" revealed a positive reaction.
When a new coolant with double the concentration of OPP was introduced into the plant, the patient became so severely affected that he had to leave work entirely.
