Terrestrial compartment(1)

The NOEC of 200 mg DBP/kg forZea maysis used for the derivation of the PNEC for theterrestrial compartment. Applying an assessment factor of 100, results in a PNECterrestrial of2 mg/kg dw. For comparison also a PNECterrestrial is derived based on equilibrium partitioning.

This gives a value of 1.24 mg/kg dw, which is in agreement with the PNECterrestrial derived above.
