The acute toxicity to algae (Selenastrum capricornutum) of 3-chloroaniline was exposued for a period of 72 hours under static conditions. Inhibition of the algal population was measured as reduction in growth rate (index r) and showed an ErC50 of 21.1 mg/L ; a NOECr of 10.0 mg/L was calculated.
