Description of key information

The experimental value of octanol water partition co-efficient (log Pow) of of N,N-dimethyl-p-toluidine by Shake flask method was found to be 1.729 at temperature 35 deg C and pH of 5.6. This value indicates that the substance N,N-dimethyl-p-toluidine is hydrophilic in nature
