The surface tension of a solution of test material has been determined according to EU Method A.5. The minimum force required to detach a platinum ring from the surface of the 90% saturated solution was recorded. The 90% saturation solution contained 2.28, 1.06E-03, 1.97E-02 and 1.80E-04 g/L of components 1 to 4, respectively. The surface tension was determined to be 49.8 mN/m at 20.5 ± 0.5 °C. The test material is considered to be a surface-active material.
