New version of Chesar now available for download

ECHA/NI/16/27

The new version of ECHA's Chemical Safety Assessment and Reporting tool, Chesar, has been published.

Helsinki, 21 June 2016 – Chesar 3 is now adapted to the IUCLID 6 format and exchanges data with IUCLID more effectively than before. This will help you to create your chemical safety assessments and reports in an easy and harmonised way directly from the IUCLID data. The update also supports the assessment of complex cases, such as multi-constituents or UVCBs*.

At the same time of the Chesar release, an update of IUCLID 6 is published to ensure compatibility with Chesar. All Chesar users should install the update to IUCLID 6.

Advice on how to use Chesar has been reviewed and improved so that you get easy-to-understand and targeted help while using the tool. Your data from the previous Chesar version is automatically migrated to Chesar 3.

A webinar on the new version of Chesar takes place on the day of the release, 21 June, from 10:00 to 13:00 Helsinki time. If you missed the webinar, you will be able to see the recording and presentations on ECHA's website later.

The Chesar user manuals have been updated and can be found on the Chesar website.
