First-aid measures
Eye Contact:
In case of contact, flush eyes with plenty of lukewarm water.
Skin Contact:
In case of skin contact, wash affected areas with soap and water. Cool melted product on skin with plenty
of water. Do not remove solidified product. Wash affected areas, including hair, beneath nails and other
concealed areas with Polyethylene Glycol 400. Repeat the washing with soap and water. Immediately
remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention. Wash clothing and shoes before reuse.
Inhalation:
If inhaled, remove to fresh air.
Ingestion:
If ingested, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Get medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable Extinguishing Media:
carbon dioxide (CO2), foam, dry powder, water spray
Special Fire Fighting Procedures:
Firefighters should be equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus to protect against potentially toxic
Accidental release measures
Spill and Leak Procedures:
Cleanup personnel must use appropriate personal protective equipment. Cover spill with inert material (e.
g., dry sand or earth) and collect for proper disposal. Allow to solidify, use mechanical handling equipment.
Handling and storage
‘This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.
Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every affected Distributor and Downstream Manufacturer/User of the Registrant’s intermediate.

Stability and reactivity
Hazardous Reactions:
Hazardous polymerization does not occur.
Stability:
Stable
Materials to avoid:
Reducing agents, Oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products:
By Fire and Thermal Decomposition: Thermal decomposition may produce CO, CO2, and other potentially toxic fumes.
Disposal considerations
Waste Disposal Method:
Waste disposal should be in accordance with existing federal, state, provincial, and/or local environmental
control laws.
