Description of key information

Using the isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method, the vapour pressure of Dioctylin bis(2 -ethylhexylmercaptoacetate) was determined in a GLP study according to current accpeted guidelines. Due to the behaviour of the test material in the equipment,
an exact value for the vapour pressure could not be calulated. Three tests were performed. Significant differences between the individual measurements were observed. The vapour pressure was therefore reported to be lower than the highest measured value at < 2.50 x 10-4 Pa = < 1.88 x 10-6 mmHg.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C
