Principles of method if other than guideline:
The method was changed to cover a range of 0.6 – 60000 cSt and with the proviso that kinematic viscosity values were tabulated if results were < 0.6 cSt.

This standard test method does not allow for times of less than 200 seconds to be quoted as a viscosity value and states that it should be a less than value (presumably 200 seconds gives a value of 1.2 cSt). OECD method 114 –“Viscosity” states that the lower limit for viscosity testing is 0.5 mPa.s (dynamic viscosity)

Conclusions:
The flow times in all runs was less than 200 secs, therefore the results have been reported as:

At 20°C < 0.60 cSt (mean of 2 runs)
At 40°C < 0.60 cSt (mean of 2 runs)

Based on full results kinematic viscosity:
At 20°C = 0.4565 cSt
At 40°C = 0.382 cSt

Using density of 1.653 kg/l, dynamic viscosity is calculated as:

0.755 cP @ 20°C
0.631 cP @ 40°C
