Description of key information

It is not proposed to undertake this toxicity testing as the material has shown high acute ecotoxicity results in short term testing on all species, therefore further long term testing is not considered necessary. Hydrolysis and degradation endpoints also indicate the substance rapidly dissociates in the aquatic environment and soil through mainly chemical but also biological degradation. As such long term exposure to TEL is unlikely.
