Additional information

DBDPEthane is not acutely toxic to fish, daphnia or algae. Chronic toxicity is not expected due to its negilgible water solubility (ca. 0.72 ug/L), high predicted binding (Koc = 33000000), and limited distribution to water (0.6%).

In a 21 -day study with Daphnia magna exposed to 14C-decabromodiphenyl ethane at mean measured concentrations of 256 and 356 ng/L under flow-through conditions there were no adverse effects on growth, survival or reproductive performance.
