Description of key information

In an acute toxicity to fish study, Oncorhynchus mykiss were exposed to 1-bromopropane for 96 hours under semi-static conditions in a sealed environment to prevent the volatile test substance from escaping.
The 96-hour LC50 value for 1-bromopropane with rainbow trout was 24.3 mg/L, with 95% confidence limits of 17.7 and 33.3 mg/L.
The No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC) was 1.77 mg/L.
