Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

Dipropylamine is acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates (48 -h EC50 > 200 mg/L, BASF, 2022).

Toxicity to aquatic algae

Dipropylamine is acutely harmful to algae (72 -h ErC50 = 146 mg/L, 72 -h ErC10 = 44.4 mg/L, BASF, 2022).

Toxicity to microorganisms

The inhibition of the degradation activity of activated sludge is not anticipated when introduced in appropriate low concentrations (30 -min EC50 > 1000 mg/L, BASF AG, 2005).
