Additional information

The effects of isobutyl vinyl ether to Daphnia magna STRAUS were studied according to OECD TG 202. The test item concentrations were analytically monitored. As the test concentrations were partly out of the acceptable range (± 20%; recovery: 0 h / 48 h: 98-177% / 89-149% of nominal values), the effect values are based on the measured concentrations. The 48-h EC50 was determined to be 52 mg/L (meas.; BASF AG, 2004; report no. 50E0186/033032).

It can be concluded that the substance is acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
