Additional information

The acute toxicity of isobutyl vinyl ether to fish was studied in a closed semistatic test system according to OECD TG 203. The test species was Danio rerio, which were exposed to the substance for 96 hours. The test concentrations were analytically monitored. At test termination a 96-h LC50 of 28.3 mg/l was determined based on mean measured concentrations (BASF AG, 2004; report no. 17F0186/035052).

It can be concluded that the substance is acutely harmful to fish.
