Results of the 14 d stability test (ambient temperature and elevated temperature) according to EPA OPPTS 830.6313:

The results from storage at ambient (20.8 – 23.0 °C) temperature and at elevated (52.6 - 54.2 °C) temperatures showed the test substance to be stable in the presence of a mixture of metals and metal ions with respect to both and chemical purity. During and after the completion of the stability test, no content decrease of the test item was measured and no physical changes of the test item were observed.

Results of the 14 d corrosion study at elevated temperature according to EPA OPPTS 830.6313 / 6320:

The 14 days storage of the test substance, technical substance, at elevated (54 °C) conditions showed no colour changes or clumping of the test item. The immersed part of the test material strips of aluminium, brass, copper, steel, stainless steel, PE and PP shows no changes in their physical appearance.

To conclude, from the materials tested in this study: aluminium, brass, copper, steel, stainless steel, PE and PP showed no corrosion signs (e.g. pitting or rust) and can all be used for storing the test substance, technical material.
