Description of key information

The acute toxicity of test item was tested on Daphnia magna under semi-static conditions.
The IC0, the IC100, the IC50 (with their 95% confidential limits) values and the NOEC at 24 and 48 hours, in terms of geometric mean of measured of test item concentration, were as follows:
IC0, 24 and 48 h: 0.7 mg/L
IC100, 24 h: 11.6 mg/L
IC100, 48 h: 4.0 mg/L
IC50, 24 h: 2.6 (95% CL: 2.0-3.2)
IC50, 48 h: 2.0 (95% CL: 1.7-2.3)
NOEC, 24 and 48 h: 0.7 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50/LC50 for freshwater invertebrates:
2 mg/L

Additional information

The 48 -h IC50 of PCBTF for Daphnia was foun to be 2 mg/L based on measured concentrations.
