EC number: 202-681-1 | CAS number: 98-56-6
PCBTF is expected to be stable in water as it was not degraded by sunlight in a study conducted in water and, according to structural properties, hydrolysis is unlikely. However, different studies showed that it rapidly volatilize from water.
It is moderately stable also in air, where the DT50 due to oxidation is calculated by EPISUITE to be 38 days.
There are no data with regard to stability in soil, however the Koc is low and the evaporation from soil is expected to be high.
