Description of key information

Two values have been reported for the water solubility of 9000 mg/l and 10'000 mg/l, namely by NICNAS (1994), a value derived from NISSAN, and by Budnowsky (1968)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
9 000 mg/L
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The water solubility is relatively high in destilled water, but the solubility drops fast with increasing salt concentrations as used for environmental studies. The water solubility of 9000 mg/l has been confirmed by Ciba Specialty Chemicals Inc in 1996.
