Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Adsorption has been calculated using the HPLC method proposed by the EU-guideline A.19.and OECD-guideline 121.
The log Koc-soil is 1.5 +/- 0.6, and the log Koc-sludge is 1.7 +/- 0.4 at pH 7.5 and 25°C, based on HPLC-method in which the substance is compared to at least 6 reference substances. The Koc-soil is 31.7 .

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
31.7

Additional information

The adsorption coefficient of TGIC has been determined using the HPLC-method proposed by the OECD guideline 121.

Although no direct determination by the batch procedure has been conducted, the HPLC- method delivers adorption values which are by experience close to the actual values, and give enough information to judge on the adsorption behaviour of the test substsance to soil and sludge.
