- Partition coefficient octanol/water was determined by a modified OECD methodology 123 using slow- stirring the mixture. In contrast to this method, the initial EDN concentration was not achieved by dissolution, but by saturation in equipment used for determination of EDN solubility in organic solvents. The resulting value of the partition coefficient is reported as:
