Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
340 °C

Additional information

The relative self-ignition temperature of the substance was determined in the test performed according to EU Method A.15 to be 340 °C. The substance is a solid with a melting area < 160 °C (not self-heating). Although the test method was designed for liquids and gases, it can be applied for solids characterized by the melting point or melting area in the range of relatively low temperatures (in this case: from -64 to 145 °C).
