A study on hydrolysis is not required because the substance is readily biodegradable.

Additional information

Abiotic degradation by hydrolysis is no relevant degradation pathway for alkyl ether sulfates (AES). The substances of the AES category are readily biodegradable. Due to the rapid mineralisation an assessment is not required.
