Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
General advice:
Seek medical advice. If breathing has stopped or is labored, give assisted respirations. Supplemental oxygen may be indicated. If the heart has stopped, trained personnel should begin cardiopolmonary resusciation immediately.
Eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water also under the eyelids for at least 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses.
Skin contact:
Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes. Immediately remove contaminated clothing, and any extraneous chemical, if possible to do so without delay.
Ingestion:
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Prevent aspiration of vomit. Turn victim´s head to the side.
Fire-fighting measures
Use personal protective equipment. Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.
Incomplete combustion may form carbon monoxide. Burning produces noxious
and toxic fumes. Downwind personnel must be evacuated. This product, if
ground into a fine powder, may cause a potential dust explosion hazard.
Accidental release measures
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Use
self-contained breathing apparatus and chemically protective clothing. Evacuate
personnel to safe areas.
Construct a dike to prevent spreading.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Emergency showers and eye wash stations should be readily accessible. Adhere to work practice rules
established by government regulations. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid
breathing vapors. Use personal protective equipment. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Freeze protection is not required but product should be warmed above the freezing point prior to use to avoid crystalization.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Use self-contained breathing apparatus and chemically protective clothing. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Evacuate personnel to safe areas.
Construct a dike to prevent spreading. Construct a dike to prevent spreading.
Stability and reactivity
Does not react with water, stable under normal conditions.
Disposal considerations
Approach suspected leak areas with caution. Contact Air Products' Emergency Response Center for advice. Place in appropriate chemical waste container.
