Additional information

The environmental fate of 44PD (CAS 101 -96 -2) is largely based on QSAR modelling, combined with read across data from a structural analog 77PD (CAS 221 -375 -9).

Based on the available data it is concluded that 44PD is unstable in the environment. 44PD is very susceptible to hydrolysis and photolysis with an estimated half life for hydrolysis of less than 12 hours and for photolysis of 1.1 hours. The substance is more stable at pH 4 (DT50 ca. 230 hrs). The compound is not readily bio-degradable. Its log BCF equals 2.1 and the log Koc value equals 2.77.
