In the only available and reliable study, the substance's toxicity to microorganisms was determined to be EC20 = 625 mg/l. EC50 is set equal to this concentration, which is a conservative approach.

The substance was tested for respiratory sludge inhibition according to guideline ISO/DIS 8192 Part B. The study was assessed to be reliable with restrictions and considered as key study. The inoculum was derived from the local municipal STP Lambsheim. The EC20 was determined to be after 30 min EC20 = 625 mg/l. EC50 is set equal to this concentration, which is a conservative approach.
